Dear Mother Nature,
You are a fickle bee-otch.
Three short days ago it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Sunny in the low 70s.
Sunny in the low 70s.
So lovely, in fact, I was able to play tennis and be irresponsible enough that three days later I am still FRIED!!!
Today, however, it's FREAKING SNOWING.
Let me remind you. It's April. In Georgia.
I had to cover my plants.
Yes, I understand it's not REAL snow, only teeny tiny flurries.
However, the POINT is it's cold enough for those teeny tiny flurries. to occur!
28 being the low tonight.
I, too, am a woman. I understand stand mood swings. But a 50 degree mood swing??
For the love of God, woman, take some Prozac!
If your little temper tantrum kills my great grandmother's hydrangea, I'm so NOT gonna be happy.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI took the garbage out this morning and there was flurries flying. What the crap!
I want warm weather back!!!!!!!
I think mother nature is hittin' the crack pipe.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy weather where I am also! NO snow yet.. but we'll see.
Funny! Do your beautiful quilts get messed up? I love quilts! Mother Nature and I are tight so I will have a talk with her on your behalf. :0)
ReplyDeleteIt is flurring here in Alabama to. I had to cover my plants. Jerry is sick with this mess going around and Baby had surgrey this morning. I had to stay home from work and take care of everyone. As you told Kaley shake your booty. I am!
ReplyDeleteFickle bee-otch, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI hope the sun comes back to your neck of the woods soon!
Yes, this weather is seriously messed up. When you get hold of Momma tell her to ease up a bit in NC, too :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm with ya on that one!
ReplyDeleteSheesh!
Where are you?? It's been so cold, and cloudy and WINDY here in Augusta, but no snow. I can't believe I have my heat going non-stop this time of year!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, what is going on with Mama Nature!?!?!?! She is majorly temperamental lately!
ReplyDeleteHope it warms up for you again soon!
Alright woman, I totally got your back if she gives you anymore grief!
ReplyDeleteI'm a great fan of your blog. As proof, grab the fan award and the best blogger buddy award from my blog.
ReplyDeleteYou tell her!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you aren't in Ohio? ;) I turned the heat off for an hour today and our house got down to 62 degrees. Brrrrr! It hasn't shut off since. We'll be hunting Easter eggs in the snow at this rate.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! But I have a confession - I like winter. (What?!) Well, the truth is, I HATE with a burning passion, BUGS!!! They freak me out! In fact, every once in awhile I have night terrors (maybe only 3 or 4 times a year), but every single one is about bugs! So, that's why I don't mind the winter. I especially like it when he gets real warm one day and then real cold the next. Then I get all the fun of Spring, but the bugs stay in hibernation. Anyway, thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me to SITS!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh, no. The hydrangea would be the final straw! Give Mother Nature the what-for!
ReplyDeleteI am glad its not snowing here but it was freezing today. And btw Roll Tide.
ReplyDeleteI think Calgary, Alberta did a weather swap with you guys. Well.. I guess 55 degrees isn't considered warm for you, but up here it's a heat wave! (sorry about that).
ReplyDeleteHoly Snikes! Poor plants I hope they are doing well! Mine aren't looking so hot with this snow then warmth then snow again! UGH
ReplyDeleteTell me about it!!! Make up mind weather!!!!! grrrrr
