Today is the beginning of our new life.
Pumpkin was laid off the 1st week of December.
COMPLETE.SHOCKER.
He had been with his company for 15 years - since graduating college. There was no notice, no hint, no CLUE. Just called into the office and told he was laid off.
Needless to say, our life was turned upside down.
It has been a stressful couple of months.
BUT....
Today, he started the 1st day of his NEW job!
He is working for an consulting firm that audits general contractors.
It has ENORMOUS potential for our family.
The only drawback is the travel. We have been extremely lucky our entire marriage for him to have been home. He's never had to travel. It will be a huge adjustment for all of us.
BUT - WE CAN DO IT!!!!
