Not Me! Monday - Breakin' It Down for Stellan

We all know what a nightmare of a week this has been for MckMama, her precious Stellan, and the entire MckFamily

People around the WORLD - Senegal, Paris - have been praying for Stellan.

Facebook groups have been started. Prayer blogs have been created.

Welcome to "Not me!" Monday - Stellan Style!

This blog carnival was created by MckMama and is normally on her blog.

However, in honor of sweet Stellan, Natalie is hosting this week's

"Not me!" Monday ~ STELLAN STYLE!

Let's DO IT!

I have NOT been on my knees this week for Stellan more than I honestly can say I've EVER been.

I have NOT sent emails to all of my friends practically begging them to get on THEIR knees and pray for this precious baby.

I have not update my Facebook status asking MORE friends to pray for Stellan.

I have NOT added the Praying for Stellan button to my blog.

Prayers for Stellan

I have NOT stalked MckMama's Twitter to keep updated so my prayers can be more focused.

I have NOT personally Tweeted about praying for the sweet boy!

I have NOT posted on my blog begging for prayers for Stellan.

I have NOT looked through Stellan's name gallery with tears in my eyes, thinking of all the people who LOVE this child they have never met.

My heart has NOT physically ached with the pain and helplessness that I can only imagine this family is enduring.

I will NOT continue to do these things.

I am NOT begging YOU to do the same.

"Not Me!" Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Gracious alive! It has been a LONG week and a LONG list of things that I did NOT do, but I'll try to limit myself in sharing with the world.

I did NOT have way too much fun on the tennis trip to Rosemary and MESS up my stupid foot again. I am ALWAYS super cautious with it because not only would I NOT be able to play tennis, but it also limits my interaction with Baby Chicklet. So it would have been tres irresponsible to drink too much and party like a rock star, dancing like a fool, after I played 4 1/2 hours of tennis. Nope - wouldn't do it!

I did NOT shovel massive quantities of food and adult beverages in my face because, hey, I'm going to start being good on TUESDAY.

I did NOT continue to say all the wonderful things the eldest chick is doing and how great of a girl she is just because I knew it would pi$$ off one person in our group of tennis gals. Ya see, I am now a GROWN UP and would NEVER resort to such childish behavior.

I did NOT come home after being gone for five days and almost immediately get annoyed with middle chicklet and continue to be that way for the rest of the night. As I had an inifinite amount of patience in store since I was without children for, did I mention, FIVE days my patience factor was at an all time high and he would so NOT drive me crazy within a few minutes!

I did NOT forget to tell Pumpkin how much I appreciated all he did while I was gone. I would NOT tell him I noticed how clean the house was and how awesome it was for him to do laundry. Since I'm perfecto wife numbero ONE, I would NEVER have neglected to do those things!

Y'all have a great week and do NOT do any of the things I did NOT do!

"Not Me!" Monday

Welcome to "Not Me!" Monday. This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head on over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

It was NOT me who was running late, and after NOT listening to baby chicklet whine for a cookie, told her to eat the one in her car seat. I also did NOT argue with the sweet princess over the time it was in the car and then lie and tell her it was perfectly fine to eat all the while knowing it had been there two days. AND I did NOT secretly find great humor in the "wool over the eyes" when she announced it was yummy!

In my head I was NOT thinking “here we go again” after the male chicklet

twisted his ankle during his basketball game. I was a caring, patient, doting mother who, while holding an ice pack on his leg, was NOT thinking of the ridiculously LOUD noises he makes while hopping around rather than using crutches. (Can you tell we’ve been here before?!)

I’m NOT at all anal about the picture sizes & spacing in my blog posts. I have NEVER spent one hour revising it. That would just be a little OCD, and I’m gonna leave that to Pumpkin.

After watching our neighbor’s 2 year old, precious little B, scratch her booty and hearing her mommy, extremely sweet, very pregnant, disgustingly beautiful Kate, tell me of poor B's butt issues (itchy, scratchy, eczema looking), I did NOT tell precious little B to pull down her pants so I could see. Since we were sitting outside on the sidewalk, I most certainly did NOT then yell at baby chicklet to come and let ESVPDB Kate see HER butt. We did NOT then stand them side by side in the STREET to compare their little hineys. And by NO means would both children do so without a second thought. These types of thing are totally NOT the norm around here!

I did NOT force persuade KK to wear this adorable outfit

because I had worked COUNTLESS hours on it and wanted to selfishly enjoy the fruits of my labor show everyone how adorable she is. I did NOT tell her the cheerleaders would put her up in a stunt if she wore it so everyone could see her how even her hiney showed school spirit!

And I did NOT tell her that Westie (the mascot) would come and give her a special high five and tell her how her outfit was the cutest outfit EVER and was way better than some bland 'ole cheerleading uniform.

I did NOT hunt down Brittney & Westie

once we finally got there to beg them to be my partners in crime do me a small favor.

I did NOT tell my eldest chicklet if she didn’t put KK up in stunt I would not revise her English paper and make her have to go to the DREADED Dr. Kohn (evil, pure evil)! When she vehemently protested politely declined and said they may not have time, I did NOT tell her she was the captain, to pull rank and MAKE IT HAPPEN. NOR did I hunt down Westie when we got there and BEG to him help a momma out! Bribery and extortion are so NOT my thing!

I have NOT been a busy girl!

"Not Me!" Monday

It was NOT ME who apparently has taught baby chicklet "Crack Kills" when referring to someone's visible posterier line. Please, Lord, don't let her say it at the church preschool!

It was NOT ME who laughed out loud when Kaley (aka Scarlette O'Hara) told Pumpkin "I'll share tomorrow" after he told her she had to share her doughnuts with Brittney. I would never do that because Mommies do not laugh at such things and certainly not in front of their child!

It was NOT ME who was SCHOOLED by her entire family at ping pong!! Did the universe tilt?

It was NOT ME who begged Pumpkin to let her go to sleep before 10:30 on a Saturday night. No more wild & crazy nights here!

It was NOT ME who laughed hysterically at Pumpkin's very entertaining idea for a Facebook profile picture. And I will NOT mention that it deals with painting on a booty (anyone sensing a pattern with "butts" in my family).

It absolutely, positively is NOT ME who cracks up everytime Kaley says "I pooted." Because I am MATURE adult and would never ever be reduced to being entertained by potty humor. :)

Head on over to
MckMama's site for more "Not Me!" Monday!

Have a great week!
